Hull Kingston Rovers continued their unbeaten start to the new Super League season with another accomplished display, this time defeating Leeds Rhinos to record a second successive victory to open 2024.

Rovers were outstanding in last week’s 22-0 victory in the Hull derby against cross-city rivals, and despite a sluggish start here in their first home game of the season, they ultimately did enough to defeat Rohan Smith’s Rhinos and consign Leeds to a first defeat of the new campaign. Tries from the likes of Peta Hiku and Ryan Hall were enough to see off Leeds’ challenge, with the Robins looking impressive once again and suggesting they could once again be in contention to reach a maiden Grand Final.
