Nikita Parris makes it eight goals in 12 WSL matches for UnitedHemp and Kelly on the mark as Manchester City beat Leicester

Nikita Parris continued her fine form for Manchester United, scoring in each half to help her side to secure a 2-0 Women’s Super League win against Brighton. Parris has now scored eight goals in 12 league games this season prompting many to wonder whether she is due an England call-up, having missed out on the squad for the World Cup.

“It’s got to be hard to ignore, right? Because I think she’s in a really good space right now,” said Marc Skinner, her manager. “Even her back-to-play stuff has got better – she’s concentrating, linking play and her runs are perfect. She’s in a real good space and hopefully she gets rewarded for that if Sarina [Wiegman] and her team think that’s right at this moment.”
