Here's how acca insurance works, and how to compare the offers.

Acca insurance refunds your stake if just one leg of your accumulator loses. Place a ten pound five-fold, four teams win and one draws, and you'd typically get a ten pound free bet back.

But if two or more legs lose, there's no refund.

Most offers share the same conditions: a minimum number of legs, usually five; minimum odds, often for each leg; a cap on the refund, often ten to twenty-five pounds; and the refund usually comes as a free bet, not cash.

To compare offers, look for fewer legs, a looser odds rule, a cap that fits your stake, and a cash refund if you can get one. And check that the leagues you bet on are included.

Stake within the cap, because anything above it isn't covered. Don't add weak legs just to qualify. And remember that cashing out usually voids the insurance.
