Here's how to make sure your qualifying bet counts.

A qualifying bet is the real-money bet that unlocks an offer. On a bet ten, get thirty offer, the ten pound bet is the qualifying bet. On most welcome offers, it can win or lose.

Almost every offer sets minimum odds, written in fractional or decimal. Your bet's odds must be equal to or bigger than the minimum. Evens, or two point oh, is a common one.

A bet at exactly the minimum counts. But watch for prices moving: if the odds shorten to one point nine five before you confirm, the bet won't qualify. Check the bet slip, not the price you clicked.

For accumulators, the combined odds usually have to meet the minimum, and some offers set a minimum for each leg too. Each-way bets are often excluded, so unless the terms say they count, use a win single.

Before you place it, run five quick checks: the odds, the full stake in one bet, a debit card deposit, the time window, and don't cash out, because cashed-out bets often don't count.
